The ACE Group of insurance and reinsurance companies today announced that Samantha Froud, Group Financial Controller, has been named Chief Administration Officer for the company’s Bermuda-based operations. Effective January 1, Ms. Froud will assume the responsibilities of Lori Samson, who has announced her retirement from ACE after 20 years of service.
Ms. Froud’s new responsibilities will include management of the human resources function in Bermuda, budgeting, facilities management, business continuity planning and administrative oversight for the ACE Group in Bermuda. She will also have responsibilities for executive and board of director compensation matters. In this role, Ms. Froud will report to ACE Limited Chairman and Chief Executive Officer Evan G. Greenberg.

Ms. Froud joined ACE in 2001 as Group Financial Controller for the ACE Group.
