Samantha Froud was named Chief Administration Officer for the company’s Bermuda-based operations in January 2011.  In this role, she is responsible for the human resources function in Bermuda, budgeting, facilities management, business continuity planning, and administrative oversight for the ACE Group in Bermuda.  In addition, Ms. Froud has responsibility for executive and board of director compensation matters. Previously, she served as Group Financial Controller, managing ACE's group reporting process, as well as the ACE Limited corporate accounting function, since joining the company in 2001.

Prior to joining ACE, Ms. Froud held several positions with Heddington Insurance Limited from 1993 to 2001, including Senior Vice President, Comptroller, Manager of Financial Reporting/ Insurance Accounting, and Assistant Manager of Insurance Accounting. She also was Auditor/ Senior Auditor for Arthur Andersen & Co. from 1990 to 1993.

Ms. Froud holds a Bachelor of Business Administration from Acadia University and a diploma in business administration from Bermuda College. She is also a Chartered Accountant in Bermuda.
