Andy Gibbs assumed his current position in May 2006.  He previously served as Chief Financial Officer and Chief Operating officer for ACE Bermuda with oversight for the Accounting, Investments, Actuarial, Underwriting Services, Compensation and Administration functions of ACE Bermuda.

Mr. Gibbs joined ACE in January 1996 as Senior Vice President in ACE Bermuda’s Accounting department and was appointed Chief Financial & Operation Officer in 1999.  He previously worked at Ernst & Young as an insurance audit partner in the company’s Bermuda office.

Mr. Gibbs is a Fellow of the Institute of Chartered Accountants in England & Wales, as well as an Associate of the Chartered Insurance Institute. He holds a bachelor’s degree in economics from the University of Essex, England.
