The ACE Tempest Re Group oversees the reinsurance operations of the ACE Group. Marketing its coverage worldwide under the ACE Tempest Re brand, the businesses of the Global Reinsurance segment provide a broad range of products to a diverse array of primary property and casualty insurers through major business units in Bermuda, North America, Europe, Asia and South America. 

These units include ACE Tempest Re Bermuda, ACE Tempest Re Canada, ACE Tempest Re USA, and ACE Tempest Re International. The International division encompasses ACE’s Lloyd’s-based reinsurance business; ACE European Group’s property and casualty reinsurance operations; a division of Zurich-based ACE Insurance (Switzerland) Limited; ACE Tempest Re's operations at Lloyd's China Re in Shanghai; and operations in Sao Paulo, Brazil.  It also includes ACE Tempest Life Re Bermuda and ACE Tempest Life Re USA, the ACE Group’s life reinsurance operations.

The companies within the Group work through reinsurance intermediaries to provide a wide range of reinsurance products for a diverse range of clients around the world. Products include: property catastrophe, aviation, marine, casualty, surety, workers compensation, professional liability, accident & health, and life & annuity.
